Day 1: Guwahati Arrival
Upon Arrival At Guwahati pick up from our representative and proceed for hotel upon arrival there check in hotel and overnight stay.
Day 2: Guwahati - Kohima
Early morning visit Kamakhya temple and thereafter transfer to Kohima Reach Kohima and check in at the hotel. Later proceed to the local market, if time permits visit the State Museum (Closed on Sunday). Overnight stay at Kohima
Day 3: Kohima Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for Kohima War memorial, Museum, and later drive to Khonoma village (20km). Khonoma village has been declared as the first Green village in India because of the initiative taken by the village to stop hunting, logging and forest fire. The village has taken an odd step by declaring 27 sq kms of its territory as Khonoma Nature Conservation and Tragopan Sanctuary (KNCTS). At Khonoma you will find Culture, History and Nature intact together. As we go through the village we will see ceremonial gates, morung, cairn circles, forts, historical sites, age group houses, meet local craftsmen weaving shawls and cane baskets. Back to Kohima. Overnight stay at Kohima
Day 4: Kohima - Imphal
Today after breakfast, proceed to Imphal (150 kms / 05 hrs drive), check into a hotel and later explore the Ima Market and Kangla Fort (if Time permits) and also visit the WW2 memorial. Overnight stay at Imphal.
Day 5: Imphal Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, proceed to Moirang to explore the Loktak Lake and Keibul Lamjao National Park,famous for the rare dancing deer, Sanghai. Also explore the Japanese War Memorial, INA museum, Red Hill - a memorial of the Japanese Army later drive back to Imphal. Overnight stay at Imphal.
Day 6: Imphal - Silchar
Today after breakfast, proceed to Silchar (270 kms / 09 hrs drive). Reach Silchar, check into the hotel. (Silchar would be a night halt as driving from Imphal to Aizawl is very long and hectic.) Overnight stay at Silchar.
Day 7: Silchar - Aizawl
Today after breakfast, proceed to Aizawl (180 kms / 06 hrs drive), reach Aizawl and check into hotel, later visit the Aizawl city view point and Bara bazaar of Aizawl. Overnight stay at Aizawl.
Day 8: Aizawl Sightseeing
Today after breakfast I visited the State Museum, Mizo Model village and later drove to visit the Vantwang falls. Enroute visit a typical Mizo tribal village. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at Aizawl.
Day 9: Aizawl - Silchar
After breakfast, proceed for Silchar, today visit a typical Rengma Naga village in the middle of Silchar town, evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Silchar.
Day 10: Silchar - Agartala
Today morning after breakfast I proceeded for Agartala, capital of Tripura (290 km / 09 hrs drive). Reach Agartala and check in hotel. Overnight stay at Agartala.
Day 11: Agartala - Udaipur - Agartala
Today after breakfast, proceed for Udaipur (50 kms / 02 hrs drive), enroute visit Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary. Also visit Matabari temple, Kali temple bordering Bangladesh. Later proceed to Mela Ghar to visit Neer Mahal. Drive back to Agartala. Overnight stay at Agartala.
Day 12: Final Departure
Today morning after breakfast proceed for Agartala Airport for your onward destination. The tour ends here with the sweet memories of North East India
